Idyll App
Idyll App: A Calm Intelligence for Wandering Minds, 2026
Overview

Idyll App is designed to capture your thought, ideas, plan as raw as they come to you. By reducing any rigid distraction of what common notes app have-templates, structure, labels. With our Associative Intelligence System, all your stray thoghts will be clustered together. And then you can decide what you want to do with them.

It started as part of a hackathon with Stanford and Google Deepmind. We worked overnight to create the prototype and ship it. In the next following days we build our website.

Welcoming message on the website

The project began with curiosity about an entire building obscured in Google Street View. That small anomaly became the starting point for a simple question: What if this wasn’t censorship, but concealment?

This inspired me to create a narrative about a place that possesses something otherworldly; something invisible in plain sight, yet perceptible in another reality. The game is simple: find this obscured building. You don't know where it is — Google Street View won't save you either. So instead, why not just go out, walk the city, and touch grass.

Mission
System overview

The player objective is simple: locate a hidden site somewhere in the city. To do so, they must move by interpreting the signals from the device, and try avoid other agents in the field.

Prototype

The hardware components were designed using simple electronics that can be purchased easily and build by anyone.

The game is built around two elements: a mission website a custom handheld device

London under Alternate Reality

The project is framed as a field operation run by the Foreign Reality Office, a fictional bureau tasked with managing contact between overlapping realities. The city becomes a playable fiction: familiar streets, hidden systems, and anomalies concealed in plain sight.
